Jim Stangarone, LCSW, CP
Jim Stangarone, LCSW, CP, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Psychodramatist, Focusing on the damaging effects of all forms of Narcissistic abuse, Complex PTSD, and childhood sexual abuse. Jim also has experience treating alcohol abuse, addictions, and eating disorders.
Working with children, adolescents and adults in individual, group, and family sessions, he believes the goal of therapy is to help people find their inner strength, become increasingly energized, and to heal with a sense of joy and aliveness.
Jim uses a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary approach tailored to overcome the debilitating feelings of fear and helplessness.
He works with children, adolescents, and adults, and conducts Couples and Family Therapy sessions.
Jim is affiliated with the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama, he is a life member of the Art Sudents League of New York, and he is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
Jim is also a Level II Reiki Practioner
